2017 AADSM 26th Annual Meeting

2017 AADSM 26th Annual Meeting
June 14th, 2017

Boston, Massachusetts

The first weekend of June Dr. Argyle had the opportunity to attend the 26th annual meeting for the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. This was a quick (and tiring) trip where he along with 3000 other member dentists of the AADSM received extensive continuing education topics related to obstructive sleep apnea. Most of the leading medical and dental experts in the field of sleep medicine lectured. Dr. Argyle gained great training and insight to continue to advance his practice in dental sleep medicine and to be able to better help any of his patients who suffer from obstructive sleep apnea.

Some of the local areas of interest in Boston including: St. Charles River, Boston Public Garden, Famous Brownstones on Commonwealth Ave, Faneuil Hall, and the Old State House. Dr. Argyle made the best of his Sunday afternoon as he made his way to the airport by foot he was able to catch a lot of the famous Freedom Trail.

Dr. Argyle’s favorite meal of the trip. If you are ever in Boston make sure you swing by Luke’s Lobster and enjoy one of there amazing lobster rolls. If you can’t decide on whether you want the lobster, crab, or shrimp roll, you better go with Luke’s Trio and get 1/2 of each of them!

Overall, it was an amazing trip with fantastic training and education. All of the major sleep appliance labs were in the exhibit hall along with all of the other leading industry experts to answer questions and display the latest and greatest in dental sleep medicine and the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. This was also Dr. Argyle’s first trip back to New England since he finished dental school at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. New England brings back a lot of good memories for him and his family.
