Same Day Crowns (Cerec)

Crowns are a permanent covering over a tooth that has decayed or cracked. The decayed or damaged part is removed and built back up to provide for a strong foundation. All of our crowns are done on the same day eliminating the need to wear a temporary crown or come back for a second visit to get the permanent crown. We also do all porcelain crowns that look much better than traditional PFM or gold crowns. Patients seldom can tell which tooth has a crown because they fit and feel so natural.

Extractions

Sometimes the best thing or the only thing to do is to remove a tooth. This happens when a tooth has an excessive amount of decay that would not allow the dentist to have adequate tooth structure to place a crown. A severely broken tooth could also require extraction. Extreme cases of periodontal disease would also necessitate removing a tooth. There are multiple options to replace removed or missing teeth.
